About The Plan

Prescription Plans

While considered a supplemental plan, prescription plans are usually offered as part of benefits package in group medical expense plans. This coverage generally covers part of the cost of prescription drugs with co-pays for the employee.

Long Term Care Plans

Health insurance policies that provide daily indemnity benefits for extended care confinement. Quite often overlooked, Long term care policies can be used to preserve assets, especially for critical illnesses, or in later years when declining health often results in extended hospital stays.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA’s)

Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Its (also known as a flexible spending arrangement) is a special account you put money into that you use to pay for certain out-of-pocket health care costs. You don’t pay taxes on this money. This means you’ll save an amount equal to the taxes you would have paid on the money you set aside. This is a use it or lose it plan, so employees need to carefully determine their qualified expenses for the upcoming year. There are also limits to the amount an employee can contribute to the FSA per year.
